Sophie & Alastair's wedding day was planned to showcase the old and the new of Melbourne!
Their wedding preparations took place at their Melbourne based apartments, featuring some incredible architecture.
I asked this newly wedded couple some questions about their wedding day.
How did you meet?
We met at uni (Monash), Soph was living at the same hall of residence as Al's best mate Lachy(groomsman) and our first in depth conversation was at the uni pub the Notting Hill hotel.
What was the most fun part about planning a wedding?
What was the most fun part about planning a wedding?
Al- tasting the food and wine!
Soph- dreaming about wearing my dress

What was the most challenging part about planning a wedding?
Making sure everything would work together on the day and watching the funds dwindle!
What memory from the wedding day stands out as being the most special moment in terms of feeling connected as a couple?
What memory from the wedding day stands out as being the most special moment in terms of feeling connected as a couple?
Dancing the night away together, in particular when the band played 'You can call me Al' and at the ceremony it was signing the certificates, Al had to practise his signature a few times so we had a good giggle over that!

How would you describe your photography experience with Rebecca and Lauren from Bibo Photography?
Very easy, stress free and laid back, we felt like we didn't have to worry about anything and it was no drama if something went off script! Exactly what you want on your wedding day.
