Ashlee & Luke - Morrison's Winery, Moama wedding

5 January 2017

Finding the right place for wedding day preparations (when you aren't a local) can be a challenge for some brides to be, but not for Ashlee!   The Perricoota Vines Retreat in Moama is a beauitfully maintained tourist location, featuring stunning grounds and well maintained accomodation faciltiies.

Ashlee's make up was prepared by the fabulous, Pip Tyndall from Muse Makeup Artistry and hair styled by local Bec from Mintme Salon.  Ashlee purchased her gown online from V Bridal and then her grandmother tirelessly added embellishments until it was the perfect look that Ashlee was hoping for!

Ashlee and Luke met at the Deniliquin Ute Muster, seven years prior to their wedding day.

The most exciting part of planning the wedding day for this couple was the shopping and watching it all fall into place on the day.

Luke was wearing RM WIlliams boots and belt, teamed with Ed Harry pants and a Gaz man shirt for his look.

Moama local wedding celebrant, Alina Hawkins married the couple, and her relaxed and confident presentation was perfect for the ceremony.

Ashlee couldn't believe her eyes as she walked down the aisle and realised that Luke was crying! She had never seen him cry before.

Ashlee's favourite part of the ceremony was being pronounced 'Husband and Wife.'

Living in Ballarat and travelling to Moama each time they needed to organise something local, was a challenge for Ashlee and Luke. However, it was the wedding venue of their dreams and they even managed to find a lovely local farmer who allowed them to have photographs taken in their woolshed. It was well worth the 'hunt' I think!

We then ventured back to Morrison's winery and as the light started to glow outside the windows we left the reception for 10 minutes to capture some images in the vines and along the riverbank.

The cake was a huge feature in the Morrison's Winery Reception room, as it was a bold colour and was prepared so beautifully.
