Andrea & Ewan's Wedding Day - from family homes to Wattle Park Chalet, Surrey Hills

3 November 2016

Andrea and Ewan's wedding day philosophy is sound advice for any bridal couple. This quote sums it up!

What was the most fun part when planning your wedding?
The most important, and fun part of our wedding day planning was ensuring that our wedding remained true to who we are as people.

How did you meet?
Ewan and I first met through friends of friends. Back in our university days, we knew each other for a long time before we starting dating.

How would you describe your photography experience with Rebecca and Lauren from Bibo Photography?
Meeting with Rebecca and maintaining a casual conversation prior to our wedding day, helped us feel that Rebecca really understood who we are as people. This led to a really relaxed and casual environment on the day. They weren't obtrusive and they were particularly patient with our flower girl and page boy (aged 5).

How did you find out about all of your wedding suppliers?
We discovered our photographer and games supplier at a Wedding Expo at the Chalet; we found out about the Chalet from a work colleague; the Church was my primary school Church; invitations and cars and kilts were the result of a google search; the band was led by a work colleague; the cake was made by a work colleague; our rings were made by a family friend; my mother and I made my dress and fascinator and with the assistance of a bridesmaid, my mother and I made the bouquets; the flowers for the centre pieces were from a friend's nursery.
